Prepare Gear Before Your First Night

Using the Crafting Workshop

Before nightfall, you need basic armor and weapons. The crafting workshop provides ample space and work surfaces for gear preparation.

Steps:

1. Gather stone or wood from around the homestead if needed

2. Go to the crafting workshop building

3. Use the crafting tables to make a sword and pickaxe

4. Craft basic armor (leather or stone) to reduce damage from mobs

5. Store excess materials back in the storage room

Enchanting Your Tools

Once you have basic gear, visit the enchanting station. This is where you upgrade your equipment early on—a major advantage for survival. Enchanting requires experience levels, which you can gain by:

• Mining stone and ore
• Killing mobs
• Smelting materials in a furnace

Focus enchantments on your sword and pickaxe first. Protection on armor comes next. Return to the enchanting station whenever you have enough experience to improve your gear.
