Locating Structures While Mining

Structures spawn naturally throughout cave systems, so simply mining and exploring caves will lead you to them. Listen for ambient sounds and watch for unusual architecture—stone bricks, sandstone blocks, or deepslate formations that don't match natural cave generation. Structures are scattered across all underground depths, so you'll encounter them whether you're mining at Y-level 0 or exploring mid-level caves.

Preparing for Loot Runs

Bring a pickaxe, sword, and torches before venturing into structure-heavy areas. Many structures contain monster spawners and hostile mobs, so combat readiness is essential. Structures often hide loot chests inside chambers and dungeon rooms—these chests contain valuable items and custom loot unique to the mod.

Exploring Safely

Approach structures cautiously. Light up spawner rooms with torches or lanterns to prevent mob spawning, or destroy spawners if you have the tools. Check all interior chambers and alcoves for hidden chests. Some structures feature natural hazards like lava cracks or water features, so watch your footing and bring water buckets for emergency situations.
