Organize Storage Chests Efficiently
Locate All Available Chests
Walk through each room of the house and identify where chests are placed. The main room typically has several chests for general storage. Other rooms may have specialized chests near crafting areas or the bedroom.
Sort by Category
Assign each chest a purpose to keep items organized:
- Food Chest: Store crops, cooked meat, and prepared meals
- Tools Chest: Keep pickaxes, axes, shovels, and swords
- Materials Chest: Store raw wood, stone, ore, and crafting ingredients
- Valuables Chest: Reserve space for rare drops and important items
Label Your System
Use item frames on chest fronts or place a representative block nearby to visually identify each chest's contents at a glance. This prevents wasting time searching for items.
Maintain Organization
Regularly sort items back into their designated chests after gathering or crafting. Remove excess items you don't need to free up space. As your inventory grows, consider adding more chests or using a dedicated storage room to expand your system without cluttering the main living areas.
