Make Dirt Cliffs Look More Natural
Why Your Cliffs Look Bare
When you dig into a hillside or create a cliff face, the exposed dirt sides can look flat and lifeless. This pack extends the grass or colored top texture down the sides of blocks, so cliffs appear fuller and more integrated with the landscape.
How to See the Effect
1. Find or create a steep cliff or hillside in your world
2. Look at the exposed block edges — you'll see the grass color extends partway down instead of showing only brown dirt
3. The effect works on all grass-based blocks: regular grass, snowed grass, podzol, mycelium, and nylium variants
4. Terraced terrain (stacked horizontal cuts) shows the most dramatic improvement, as each step displays the extended texture
Best Locations to Appreciate It
- Mountain ranges with steep slopes
- Taiga forests with podzol cliffs
- Snowy biomes with layered snow blocks
- Nether forests with crimson or warped nylium drops
- Custom terrain you've carved out yourself
The pack works automatically — no configuration needed. Simply load your world and the visual change applies to all dirt-based block sides.
