Customize Which Recipes Are Available

Locate Your Configuration File

After launching the mod for the first time, a settings file is created at config/simplegunpowder.json. Open this file with any text editor to see all available recipe toggles.

Enable or Disable Recipes

Each recipe has a true/false setting: Small, Medium, and Large Overworld recipes; Industrial; Refined and Potent Sulfur recipes; and Nether Small and Medium recipes. Set any recipe to false to disable it, or true to enable it.

Reload and Test

Save the configuration file and restart your game or reload the mod. Your crafting table will now only show the recipes you've enabled. This is useful if you want to simplify your crafting options, balance difficulty on multiplayer servers, or focus on specific material types. You can adjust settings at any time without losing progress.
