How to Combine Simple Grass Flowers With Other Resource Packs Without Conflicts

Why Conflicts Happen

Simple Grass Flowers edits the grass block top texture (and sometimes the side overlay). Any other pack that also edits grass block textures will fight with it, and whichever pack sits higher in your resource pack list wins. This is the single most common reason players say the pack "isn't working."

Ordering Your Packs Correctly

1. Open Options, then Resource Packs.

2. Place Simple Grass Flowers above any large terrain or biome pack that also touches grass, so its grass texture takes priority.

3. Place it below packs that only change GUI, fonts, or sounds — those never conflict.

4. If you use a pack that changes grass color per biome, test in at least two biomes (for example plains and swamp) to confirm the tint still applies over the new detail texture.

5. If flowers look stretched or misaligned, the other pack is likely using a different texture resolution. Move Simple Grass Flowers to the top and reload with F3+T.

Quick Verification

After reordering, press F3+T to reload resources without restarting. Walk onto a grass block and look straight down. If you see clovers or pebbles, the pack is active. If you see flat vanilla green, another pack is overriding it.
