Simple Grass Flowers Resource Pack FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

What does Simple Grass Flowers actually change in my world?
It adds small decorative details like flowers, rocks, and clovers directly onto grass block textures. Nothing about world generation or gameplay changes, so it works in any existing world.
Do I need to enable anything after installing the pack?
Just make sure the pack is moved to the selected/active side in your resource packs list. Once it's on top of the default pack, grass blocks will immediately show the new details.
Why does my grass still look plain after enabling the pack?
Another resource pack is likely overriding the grass block texture, since only the topmost pack wins for any given texture. Move Simple Grass Flowers above the conflicting pack, or remove the other pack's grass textures.
Can I use this with other resource packs at the same time?
Yes, as long as the other packs don't also edit grass block textures. Place Simple Grass Flowers above packs that change unrelated things like GUI or mobs, and below packs you want to keep for grass.
Does this pack affect performance or FPS?
No, it only swaps textures, so there's no meaningful performance impact. It doesn't add entities, models, or particles that would tax your game.
Will Simple Grass Flowers work on servers or in multiplayer?
Yes, resource packs are client-side, so you'll see the flowers on any server you join. Other players won't see them unless they also have the pack installed.
How do I make the grass detail look denser or more subtle?
The pack itself has a fixed look, so density is controlled by which packs you stack with it. Combining it with a grass-focused pack below or above it can shift how busy the result looks.
Does it change grass in every biome or just plains?
It applies to grass block textures generally, so it shows up across biomes that use the standard grass block. Biome-tinted grass colors still apply on top of the added details.
Can I use Simple Grass Flowers in a build without it looking cluttered?
Yes, but keep in mind the details are baked into the texture, so they repeat on every grass block. For clean builds, use it on lawns and gardens and switch to plain grass or path blocks in structured areas.
Does the pack change anything besides grass blocks?
It focuses on grass block textures and the small vanilla-friendly details on them. It doesn't add new blocks or items, so nothing else in your inventory or world changes.
