Toggle Fullbright On and Off During Gameplay

Using the Keybind

Simple Fullbright Mod includes a default keybind to instantly toggle the fullbright effect on and off without restarting the game or opening menus.

1. Press the fullbright toggle key during gameplay (default is often a function key or customizable key)

2. You'll notice the screen brightness change immediately—caves and dark areas will become fully lit when enabled

3. Press the same key again to disable fullbright and return to normal lighting

Customizing Your Keybind

If you want to change which key activates fullbright:

1. Open your mod configuration folder (usually .minecraft/config)

2. Locate the Simple Fullbright config file

3. Find the keybind setting and change it to your preferred key

4. Save the file and restart Minecraft

5. Your new keybind will be active on next launch

This is useful if the default key conflicts with other mods or your playstyle. You can toggle fullbright as many times as you want during a single session without any performance penalty.
