Disable Fullbright for Specific Situations

When You Might Want Fullbright Off

Even with fullbright installed, you may want to disable it temporarily for certain activities:

• Exploring dark structures where you want the atmosphere and challenge of darkness
• Taking screenshots for a more natural-looking game appearance
• PvP situations where you want to match other players' visibility
• Speedrunning or challenge runs where fullbright would be considered cheating

Quick Disabling

1. Simply press your fullbright toggle key to turn it off

2. The effect deactivates immediately—no restart needed

3. Press again to re-enable whenever you're ready

Permanent Disabling

If you want fullbright disabled by default:

1. Open the mod config file

2. Set the enabled option to false

3. Save and restart Minecraft

4. You can still toggle it on with the keybind if needed

This flexibility means you can keep the mod installed but only use it when it suits your playstyle, rather than having it always active.
