Minimize Experience Point Loss on Death

How XP Loss is Reduced

Simple Death Improvements Mod significantly reduces the amount of experience you lose when dying. Instead of losing a large portion of your levels, most of your XP is preserved and can be recollected.

Recollecting Your Experience

1. When you die, a portion of your XP will drop as orbs at your death location

2. Return to where you died

3. Walk through the XP orbs to collect them

4. Your experience level will be restored

Understanding XP Preservation

The mod keeps most of your earned experience safe rather than permanently deleting it. This means you won't suffer the severe penalties of vanilla Minecraft death. You'll retain the majority of your progress toward your next level. This is particularly valuable when you've invested significant time leveling up through mining, fighting, or other activities. Simply return to your death point and reclaim your XP orbs to continue where you left off.
