The Simple Damage Indicator Data Pack is controlled entirely through commands, since it has no items or blocks of its own. Use these to manage how damage numbers appear in your world.
- Toggle the indicator on or off. Run the pack's toggle command to enable or disable floating damage numbers globally. This is useful when you want a clean screen for building or screenshots.
- Reload the data pack. After changing any settings, run
/reloadso the data pack re-registers its functions and applies your changes.
- Check current state. The pack reports whether indicators are currently active, so you can confirm your toggle took effect.
Because the pack is single-purpose, its command set is intentionally small. All commands are run from chat or a command block as an operator. Damage numbers appear automatically above entities whenever they take a hit, with no per-entity setup required. If numbers stop showing, reloading the pack is the first thing to try.
