Adjust Overlay Transparency

Navigate to Configuration

Open the Simple Block Overlay Mod settings through your mod menu or in-game configuration screen.

Find the Alpha or Transparency Setting

Look for an alpha value, opacity slider, or transparency option. This controls how see-through the overlay is—higher values are more opaque, lower values are more transparent.

Modify the Value

Adjust the slider or input the desired transparency level. If using a numerical scale (often 0-255 or 0-100), experiment with different values to find what works best for your playstyle.

Test in Different Conditions

Return to your world and check how the overlay appears in various lighting conditions: bright daylight, caves, and near light sources. The same transparency level may look different depending on surrounding brightness.

Fine-Tune as Needed

If the overlay is too faint and blends into blocks, increase opacity. If it's too distracting or blocks your view, decrease it. Your ideal setting depends on personal preference and your graphics settings.
