How to Move and Reposition the Armor HUD on Your Screen

The armor HUD overlay can get in the way of other interface elements, so most players want to nudge it into a comfortable corner. The mod exposes its position through the standard client mod configuration screen rather than a dedicated keybind, so you adjust it once and it stays put.

Opening the Config

1. From the main menu or in-game, open the Mods list (the same screen you use to view installed mods).

2. Find Simple Armor Hud in the list and click its config button.

3. If your mod loader routes configs through a separate config menu mod, open that menu instead and select Simple Armor Hud from the sidebar.

Adjusting Position and Visibility

Inside the config you will typically find options for the HUD's anchor corner, an X and Y offset, and a toggle for whether the overlay renders at all. Change the anchor to the corner you want, then fine-tune with the offsets until the armor icons sit clear of your hotbar, health, or minimap. Some builds let you drag the overlay directly on screen while the config is open — if so, just click and drag it. Save or close the screen and the change applies immediately, no restart needed. If the HUD vanishes entirely, check that the visibility toggle was not accidentally switched off.
