Optimize Performance on Lower-End Systems
Check Current Performance Impact
Before adjusting settings, launch your world and note your current framerate using F3 (or your performance overlay). Silver Frame Cinema is designed to run efficiently, but you can optimize further if needed.
Disable Advanced Features Selectively
Access the shader menu and look for toggles related to shadow quality, ambient occlusion, or reflection effects. Disabling or lowering shadow softness quality will have the biggest framerate impact. You can also reduce render distance in your video settings—this works alongside the shader to improve performance without sacrificing the cinematic look.
Test and Monitor
Make one change at a time and check your framerate in different environments: open sky, dense forests, and underground caves. The shader's minimal system load means you should see only small framerate drops even on modest hardware. If you're still experiencing lag, lower your overall graphics settings (clouds, particles, entity shadows) in vanilla Minecraft options rather than disabling shader features, which preserves the visual quality.
