Adjust Lighting Intensity for Better Visibility at Night

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated shader menu key (typically found in your controls settings). Look for the Silver Frame Cinema profile in your shader list and select it to view its configuration panel.

Modify Brightness and Shadow Settings

Locate the lighting intensity or brightness slider. Increase this value to brighten dark areas during nighttime, making caves and interiors more visible without losing the cinematic aesthetic. You can also adjust the shadow softness slider—reducing shadow intensity will lighten areas under overhangs and trees.

Fine-Tune for Your Preference

Test your changes by moving between different lighting conditions: caves, forests at dusk, and open areas at night. The shader's soft lighting means you won't get harsh contrasts, so you can push brightness further than you might expect. Save your custom profile once you find settings that feel right for your playstyle. Remember that the shader balances day and night automatically, so small adjustments often have noticeable effects.
