Troubleshooting: Reinforced Deepslate Won't Break

Verify Your Enchantment

The most common issue is using a pickaxe without Silk Touch. Check your pickaxe in your inventory—hover over it to see its enchantments. You should see "Silk Touch" listed. If it's missing, apply the enchantment using an enchanting table, anvil with an enchanted book, or find a pickaxe that already has it.

Confirm You're in an Ancient City

Reinforced Deepslate only appears in ancient cities. If you're mining regular deepslate blocks, you're not in the right location. Ancient cities are rare structures found deep underground. Use a seed finder or explore systematically to locate one.

Check Block Type

Ensure you're actually mining reinforced deepslate and not regular deepslate. Reinforced deepslate has a more ornate, detailed texture and is specifically part of the central portal structure. Regular deepslate can be mined normally without Silk Touch.

Verify Mod Installation

Confirm the mod is properly installed and active in your world. Check your mod list in the main menu to ensure it's loaded.
