Build your farm vertically by stacking budding amethyst blocks with air gaps between layers. This multiplies your production without requiring excessive horizontal space. Ensure you can easily access all blocks for harvesting.

Automation Considerations

While budding amethyst grows passively, position your farm where you spend time regularly so you harvest crystals frequently. This prevents mature crystals from decaying and maximizes your yield over time.

Consider building your farm in a central location you visit often, or near an AFK spot if you play semi-actively. The more frequently you harvest, the more cycles the budding blocks can complete.
