Understand the Notification System

Silicon Mod sends in-game alerts whenever a supported mod releases a new version. These notifications appear on your screen and inform you that an update is ready.

Review the Update Details

When a notification appears, click on it or navigate to the Silicon menu to see what's changed. The update menu shows the mod name, new version number, and sometimes a changelog or description of improvements and fixes.

Choose Your Action

You have two paths: download immediately using the manual update button, or enable automatic downloads if you haven't already. If you're not ready to update, dismiss the notification and handle it later—Silicon remembers available updates.

Manage Notification Frequency

If notifications become too frequent, check Silicon's settings to adjust how often it checks for updates or which mods trigger alerts. You can silence notifications for specific mods while keeping others active.
