Manually Update a Single Mod

Open the Update Menu

Access Silicon Mod's interface from the main screen. Browse the list of available mods and find the one you want to update.

Check for New Versions

Select the mod and view its current version alongside any available updates. Silicon will display what's new and ready to download. If an update exists, you'll see a download or install button.

Download and Apply the Update

Click the download option to fetch the new version. Silicon handles the file management—you don't need to visit external sites or manually replace files. Once downloaded, the update is staged for your next game restart.

Restart to Complete

Close and relaunch Minecraft. The new mod version will load automatically. You can verify the update succeeded by checking the mod's version number in the Silicon menu again.

Manual updates give you control over *when* you upgrade, letting you test changes or delay updates if you're concerned about stability.
