Maintain a Clean Chat History While Taking Screenshots

Keeping Chat Uncluttered

In vanilla Minecraft, every screenshot generates a clickable chat message that navigates to the screenshots folder. When taking multiple screenshots, these messages accumulate and push other chat content out of view, making it harder to read actual game chat or commands.

How Silent Screenshots Helps

1. Take screenshots normally using your keybind (default F2)

2. Notice that no chat message appears

3. Your chat history remains clean and readable

4. Other players' messages and game notifications stay visible

5. Screenshots are still saved to .minecraft/screenshots as usual

This is especially valuable in multiplayer environments where chat is active. You can document your gameplay, take reference shots, or capture moments without flooding the chat box with screenshot confirmations. The audio feedback ensures you still know when each screenshot is taken, while keeping your chat interface clear for actual communication and information.
