Use Silence Sticks in Survival Mode

Obtaining Sticks

In Survival mode, you'll need to gather regular sticks before you can create Silence Sticks. Break leaves from trees, or craft sticks from wooden planks (2 planks stacked vertically in a crafting table).

Creating Your First Silence Stick

Hold a stick in your inventory and open chat. Type /silencestick or /st to transform it into The Silence Stick. You can repeat this process to create multiple Silence Sticks if needed.

Practical Uses

In Survival mode, silencing mobs is useful for:

• Reducing Noise Pollution: Silence annoying ambient sounds from nearby mobs without killing them.
• Peaceful Building: Create a quiet environment while building or exploring without changing your difficulty.
• Farm Management: Silence mobs in farms or breeding areas to reduce audio clutter.
• Boss Fights: Silence certain mobs to focus on specific threats during combat.

Remember that silencing a mob doesn't affect its behavior—it will still attack, move, and drop items normally.
