Accessing the Config File

The Silence Mobs Mod is highly configurable. Configuration files are typically located in your .minecraft/config folder. Look for the Silence Mobs Mod configuration file—it may be named something like silencemobs.toml or similar, depending on your mod loader version.

Common Configuration Options

The mod allows you to customize several aspects of its behavior:

• Silenced Entity Name Tag: Toggle whether silenced mobs display a "Silenced Entity" label above them. Disable this if you prefer silenced mobs to appear unmarked.
• Silence Stick Durability: Some versions allow you to configure whether The Silence Stick has durability or is infinite.
• Mob-Specific Settings: Depending on your version, you may be able to whitelist or blacklist specific mob types from being silenced.

Applying Changes

After editing the config file, save it and restart your Minecraft world or server. Changes will take effect on your next load.
