Using the Effect Codex

Craft or obtain the Effect Codex—this is your magical encyclopedia. Open it to see all status effects the mod adds, including their names, descriptions, and mechanical properties. As you brew and drink potions, new effects are automatically logged into your Codex.

Brewing to Unlock Effects

Experiment with different ingredient combinations in your Potion Cauldron. Each unique mixture may produce a new status effect. Drink the resulting potion (or throw it at mobs) to trigger the effect and add it to your Codex permanently.

Reading Effect Details

Once an effect is discovered, the Codex shows its attributes: duration, intensity, and mechanical behavior. Some effects like Cloning spawn allies, while others like Leech steal health during combat. Use this information to plan future brews.

Building Your Collection

Systematically test ingredient combinations to fill your Codex. Keep notes on which ingredients produce which effects—this knowledge becomes invaluable for crafting targeted potions later.
