How to Show Armor Only on Certain Slots or in Certain Situations

Selective Slot Visibility

Rather than hiding all armor, you can choose exactly which pieces render. This is the core flexibility of the mod and lets you build a custom silhouette.

1. Open the configuration screen and go to the armor rendering options.

2. Toggle each slot independently: helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots.

3. Decide which pieces you want visible and which you want hidden.

4. Save and verify in third person.

A popular combination is hiding the chestplate and leggings so a skin's torso and legs show, while keeping boots visible for a grounded look, or keeping only the helmet to display a cosmetic hat.

Combining With Other Cosmetics

Because the mod only affects rendering, it stacks cleanly with cape and elytra visuals and with any cosmetic layers your skin already has. If you wear an elytra, check whether hiding the chestplate also affects the elytra render, and adjust so you get the look you want. When you change gear, re-check your settings, since swapping armor pieces can make a previously hidden slot appear again if the option is tied to a specific item. Go slot by slot and confirm each result rather than assuming the whole set behaves the same way.
