How to Hide Your Armor Completely While Keeping Its Protection

Toggling Full Armor Hiding

Show Me Your Skin lets you make your armor invisible without taking it off, so you keep every point of protection while showing off your actual skin underneath.

1. Open the mod's configuration screen. Depending on your setup this is reachable from the mod list config button or an in-game keybind you have assigned.

2. Find the rendering options for each armor slot (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots).

3. Set the visibility for the slots you want hidden. You can hide everything at once or pick individual pieces.

4. Apply or save the change and look at your character in third person to confirm the armor no longer renders.

Per-Piece Control

Because every feature is toggleable, you are not forced into an all-or-nothing choice. A common setup is hiding the chestplate and leggings to show off a skin while leaving the helmet visible for a cosmetic headpiece. Walk through each slot one at a time and toggle it, checking the result in the inventory preview or third-person view after each change. If a piece still shows, make sure you edited the correct slot and that the setting was saved rather than just previewed. Remember this only changes rendering on your client side unless the mod is installed on both sides, so other players may still see your armor depending on how the server handles it.
