Display Additional Performance Metrics Beyond FPS
Checking Available Metrics
Some versions of Show FPS On Screen Mod support displaying more than just frames per second. Open your configuration file and look for options related to additional performance data.
Common Extended Metrics
Depending on your mod version, you may be able to enable display of:
- Milliseconds per frame (ms): Shows frame render time
- Memory usage: RAM consumption by the game
- Chunk loading information: Active loaded chunks
- Entity count: Number of mobs and objects in view
- Ping/latency: For multiplayer servers
Enabling Extra Information
Locate the relevant settings in your config file—these are often boolean toggles (true/false) or dropdown selections. Enable the metrics you want to monitor, then save and restart Minecraft.
Keep in mind that displaying too many metrics can clutter your screen. Start with one or two additional values and add more only if you have space. Not all versions support all metrics, so check what your specific installation offers.
