Understand the FPS Counter Color Codes

What Each Color Means

The Show FPS Mod uses color-coded text to give you instant feedback about your game's performance:

Red Text: Your frame rate has dropped below 60 FPS. This indicates performance issues—you may experience stuttering or lag. Consider lowering graphics settings or closing background applications.

Green Text: Your frame rate is stable between 60 and 120 FPS. This is a healthy, smooth gameplay range for most players and monitors.

Bright Blue Text: Your game is running faster than 120 FPS. This is excellent performance, though benefits depend on your monitor's refresh rate.

Using This Information

Watch the counter during different activities. If it turns red in certain areas (like dense forests or near many entities), those locations are performance-heavy. You can then adjust render distance, particle effects, or other settings to maintain green or blue performance in those spots.

The color system lets you monitor performance at a glance without interrupting gameplay.
