Identifying Ores by Sight

1. Observe the glow color and intensity — different ores emit distinct brightness levels and hues. Spend time in caves noting which glows correspond to which blocks.

2. Mine a variety and compare — dig several ore types and examine them side by side. This trains your eye to spot specific deposits quickly.

3. Prioritize high-value targets — once you recognize diamond and gold glows, you can focus your mining efforts on the most valuable deposits first.

4. Note the shape and size — ore deposits vary in size. Larger glowing clusters are easier to spot from a distance than single blocks.

Practice in Safe Areas
