Enable Shiny Hearts on Multiplayer Servers
Server-Side Compatibility
Shiny Hearts is a client-side resource pack, meaning it only affects your personal game display. Multiplayer servers cannot prevent you from using it, and it won't interfere with server gameplay or give you unfair advantages since it only changes UI visuals.
Installing for Multiplayer Use
Enable the Shiny Hearts Resource Pack in your resource pack folder exactly as you would for single-player. Load into any multiplayer server—the pack will remain active and your custom heart and hunger icons will display for you alone.
Troubleshooting Display Issues
If your custom hearts don't appear on a server, check that:
- The resource pack is enabled in your resource pack settings
- You're using a compatible Minecraft version
- No server-side resource pack is overriding your client-side pack
If a server forces its own resource pack, your Shiny Hearts textures may be temporarily hidden. Simply re-enable your preferred pack in the settings after disconnecting from that server.
