Customize Heart and Hunger Bar Colors

Locating the Texture Files

The Shiny Hearts Resource Pack stores its custom textures in a specific folder structure. Navigate to your resource pack directory and open the pack's assets/minecraft/textures/gui folder. Here you'll find the heart and hunger icon files that control the visual appearance of your status bars.

Editing Heart and Hunger Textures

Use an image editor (like Photoshop, GIMP, or even Paint.NET) to open the heart and hunger texture files. These are typically small PNG images with a transparent background. You can modify the colors, adjust the glow intensity, or change the overall appearance while maintaining the original dimensions.

After editing, save your changes directly back to the texture files. The resource pack will automatically load your modifications the next time you launch Minecraft or reload resources using F3 + T.

Testing Your Changes

Load into a world and check your hotbar to see the updated visuals. If the textures don't appear, verify that the resource pack is enabled in your resource pack settings and that you saved the files in PNG format with the correct naming conventions.
