Crafting Your Shield with a Banner

To apply a banner design to your shield, you need both a shield and a banner with your desired pattern.

1. Prepare your banner — Create or obtain a banner with the design you want to display. You can craft banners from wool and sticks, then customize them using dyes and banner patterns at a loom.

2. Place them together in a crafting grid — Put your shield and banner together on a crafting table. The exact placement varies, but typically the banner goes beside or below the shield.

3. Collect your decorated shield — Your shield will now display the banner's design on its surface.
