Prepare for Hardcore Mode Survival
Understand the Stakes
Hardcore mode on a shared health server means one fatal mistake ends the entire world for everyone. The pressure is high—a single player's poor decision can wipe the group. Establish clear rules about acceptable risk before starting.
Build Defensive Infrastructure Early
Prioritize safety over speed. Construct a well-lit base with walls, a safe room for sleeping, and multiple escape routes. Keep beds nearby so players can respawn together if something goes wrong. Avoid exploring far from base until you have solid gear and weapons.
Enforce Strict Protocols
Agree on rules: no swimming in deep water without backup, no fighting mobs alone, no exploring caves without armor, no risky jumps. Assign a "safety officer" role to someone who monitors risky behavior and calls out dangerous situations.
Stock Emergency Supplies
Maintain a vault of healing items, food, and armor near your base. If someone takes massive damage, you have immediate resources to stabilize the group. Keep this vault updated as you progress through the game.
