Configure Shake Effects for PvP Combat

Understand Competitive Considerations

In PvP, screen shake can obscure vision during critical moments. Shake Tweaks lets you fine-tune which effects stay enabled for optimal visibility and reaction time.

Disable Vision-Blocking Effects

For clearer sight during combat, disable the effects that most impact your view:

  • Toggle Disable Screen Bobbing to ON
  • Toggle Disable Horizontal Bobbing to ON
  • Toggle Disable Screen Damage Tilt to ON

These prevent your camera from moving erratically when hit, keeping your crosshair and target stable.

Keep Feedback Effects

You may want to retain some indication that you've taken damage:

  • Leave Disable Hand Bobbing OFF to see your hand react
  • Leave Disable Hand Damage Tilt OFF for arm movement feedback

This preserves the audio and visual cues that you've been hit without compromising your ability to track opponents.

Test and Adjust

Engage in combat and adjust the settings based on whether you need more or less feedback. Some players prefer complete stillness; others want subtle cues.
