Claiming Your First Shadows

When a mob dies near you, press your Shadow Eyes keybind to reveal its spirit. Hold Shift and Right-click the spirit to attempt claiming it as a shadow minion.

Your mana bar determines success—higher mana makes it easier to claim stronger mobs. You get three attempts per spirit before it vanishes permanently. Unclaimed spirits disappear after five minutes.

Once claimed, shadows appear in your Shadow Storage (press Y). Open your inventory to access the Shadow Menu, where you can command your army to follow, stay put, or attack. You can name minions and adjust their fighting style here.

Shadows automatically load chunks around them and collect dropped items into storage. If you die, all active shadows return to storage automatically. Configure the maximum shadow count, revival difficulty, cooldowns, and blacklisted mobs in your settings.
