Combine Smooth Entity Shadows with Other Packs

Stacking Resource Packs

Smooth Entity Shadows works alongside other resource packs. The order matters—packs listed higher override those below.

1. Open Settings → Resource Packs

2. Place Smooth Entity Shadows above any texture packs that modify mobs or shadows

3. Keep it below packs that only change blocks, items, or UI

4. Test by loading your world and checking mob shadows

Compatibility Notes

This pack modifies only shadow textures, so it won't conflict with packs that change mob skins, block textures, or HUD elements. If shadows revert to blocky after adding another pack, drag Smooth Entity Shadows higher in the active list.

Avoid stacking multiple shadow-modifying packs, as only the topmost one will apply. If you want custom mob skins *and* smooth shadows, use a skin pack below Smooth Entity Shadows in your load order.
