Activating Shadify to Remove Block Shadows

Enable the Resource Pack

Shadify works like any standard resource pack and requires no mods to function. Open your world or main menu, then navigate to Options → Resource Packs. Locate Shadify in the available packs list and click the arrow to move it into your active packs on the right side.

Verify the Effect

Once activated, return to your world. You should immediately notice that block shading appears flatter and less pronounced. Dark shadows under blocks and in corners will be significantly reduced, and overall colors will appear brighter and more saturated. Blocks that previously looked dull in shade will now display their colors more vividly.

If you don't see changes, ensure Shadify is positioned above any other resource packs that might override its textures. You can reorder packs by dragging them in the resource pack menu.

Disable if Needed

To revert to default shading, simply move Shadify back to the inactive list or remove it entirely. Your world will return to normal appearance on reload.
