Customize Shaded Font Colors in Your World

Accessing Font Settings

The Shaded Font Resource Pack applies its styling globally across all text elements. To customize how the shaded font appears in your world, you'll need to modify the resource pack's configuration files.

Editing the Resource Pack

1. Locate your resource pack folder in .minecraft/resourcepacks/

2. Open the Shaded Font Resource Pack folder

3. Navigate to the assets/minecraft/font/ directory

4. Open the font JSON file in a text editor

5. Adjust color values and shadow depth parameters as needed

6. Save your changes

Applying Changes

After editing, reload your resource pack by pressing F3 + T in-game, or restart Minecraft entirely to ensure all changes take effect. The new shaded font styling will apply to chat messages, GUI text, signs, and book text throughout your world.

Testing Your Changes

Open a book or check chat to verify the font appearance matches your preferences. If the text appears broken or unreadable, revert your edits and try smaller adjustments to the shadow or color values.
