Create a Basic Server Selection Menu

Setting Up Your First Menu

ServerSelectorX menus are defined in configuration files and opened via commands or item clicks. Start by accessing your plugin's config folder and locating the menus configuration file.

Creating the Menu

1. Define a new menu with a unique ID (e.g., main-selector)

2. Set the menu title and size (typically 27, 36, 45, or 54 slots)

3. Add server buttons by specifying:

  • Display name and lore text
  • Icon material (e.g., diamond block, emerald block)
  • Target server name or address
  • Slot position in the inventory grid

4. Save your configuration file

5. Run /ssx reload to apply changes

Opening the Menu

Assign the menu to a command using /ssx-custom:menu <menu-id> or bind it to an item interaction. Players can now click the menu to see available servers and select one to join.

Tip: Use descriptive names and colors in your lore to help players understand what each server offers.
