Set Up NPC Guides and Shop Stalls

Placing NPCs

NPCs serve as helpful guides and merchants in your lobby. Position them in their designated zones—guides near the information board, merchants in the shop area.

Use armor stands or villagers as NPC bases. Customize their appearance with armor, held items, and name tags so players recognize their purpose at a glance. A guide NPC might hold a book; a merchant might hold a valuable item.

Creating Shop Stalls

Build small counter structures using stairs, slabs, and full blocks to create merchant stalls. Space them apart so multiple players can browse without crowding.

Place item displays on the counters using item frames or armor stands holding sample goods. Use signs above or beside each stall to list prices and available items.

If your server uses a shop plugin, link the NPC or sign to the shop system so players can buy directly. Test purchases to ensure the system works before opening to players.
