Designing the Rules Display

Choose a prominent, central location in the lobby where all players will see it when they spawn. Clear, flat wall space or a dedicated bulletin board structure works best.

Use item frames, signs, or armor stands to display your server rules. Signs are the most straightforward—place them in a grid pattern so players can read multiple rules at once without scrolling.

Writing Effective Rules

Keep each rule short and clear. Use numbered lists (1, 2, 3) so players can reference them easily during conversations. Focus on core rules: no griefing, no PvP in spawn, no spam, respect other players.

Consider adding a second board with frequently asked questions or server commands. This reduces confusion and helps new players get oriented faster.

Place the rules board near the spawn point so it's impossible to miss. You can also add a decorative frame or lighting to draw attention to the area.
