Enable Synchronized Sleep in Your Multiplayer World

Understanding the Sleep Percentage

Server Sleep Mod adjusts how many players must sleep before the night skips. By default, vanilla Minecraft requires all players to sleep simultaneously. This mod changes that to a percentage-based system, allowing the server to progress when enough players are in bed.

Setting Up Synchronized Sleep

1. Access your server console or use an in-game command

2. Run the gamerule command to set the sleep percentage. The mod enables you to specify what fraction of online players must sleep to skip the night

3. Confirm the change by checking that players can now sleep without waiting for everyone

4. Test in multiplayer: Have some players sleep while others remain awake—the night should advance once the threshold is met

Why This Matters

In multiplayer servers, one AFK or offline player can prevent everyone from sleeping. This mod solves that problem by letting the majority vote with their beds. It's especially useful for servers with varying player activity and time zones.
