Verify Your Resource Packs Are Being Cached Correctly

Signs the Mod Is Working

1. Loading bar is missing or very brief — after joining a server once, subsequent joins show little to no Mojang loading screen.

2. No lag spikes during pack loading — the game stays responsive when connecting to familiar servers.

3. Resource pack applies instantly — textures and sounds are ready without delay.

How to Confirm Caching

• Join a server twice — the first time you'll see the normal loading bar. The second time, it should be gone or nearly instant.
• Check your resourcepacks folder — your downloaded packs remain stored in .minecraft/resourcepacks/. The mod reads from here.
• Switch between servers with the same pack — if two servers use identical packs, the second server loads much faster.

Troubleshooting

If you still see loading bars every time:

• Ensure the mod is installed and enabled in your mod loader.
• Verify the server is actually sending a resource pack (some servers don't require one).
• Check that your resourcepacks folder isn't being cleared between sessions.

The mod works silently—you'll know it's active by the absence of loading delays on repeat visits.
