Speed Up Your Server List Refresh
Why Your Server List Feels Slow
When you click the refresh button on your multiplayer server list, Minecraft pings each server to check player count and connection status. By default, this happens slowly because the game uses a limited number of threads to handle these requests simultaneously.
How Server Pinger Fixer Helps
This mod increases the thread count dedicated to pinging servers. More threads mean multiple servers can be pinged at the same time instead of waiting in a queue.
What You'll Notice
After installing the mod:
- Server information (player count, latency) appears faster when you open the multiplayer menu
- Repeatedly clicking refresh no longer causes noticeable delays
- The server list feels more responsive overall
- No configuration needed—the mod works automatically
Best Results
The performance improvement is most obvious when you have many servers in your list or when you frequently refresh. If you only have a few servers saved, the difference may be subtle.
