Applying the Serified Font

The Serified Font Resource Pack is a cosmetic resource pack that replaces Minecraft's default typeface with a fantasy-inspired, medieval-style serif font. It changes only the appearance of text, so it works alongside any world, mod loader, or gameplay setup without affecting mechanics.

To use it, place the pack in your resource packs folder and enable it from the in-game resource pack menu, moving it above other packs that also modify fonts so its lettering takes priority. Because it is a resource pack rather than a mod, no separate loader is required beyond what your version already supports for resource packs.

The font is designed to stay legible despite its decorative styling, and it uses semi-transparent pixels for anti-aliasing, which smooths the edges of each glyph. This keeps small text readable in menus, chat, and signs while giving the game a more elegant, storybook feel suited to enchanted or castle-building themes. Disable the pack at any time to return to the vanilla font.
