Accessing Configuration Settings

Open your mod menu or configuration interface. The Sengoku Jidai mod provides dedicated spawning configuration options for mythical creatures and historical Japanese mobs. Navigate to the spawning settings section to adjust creature behavior.

Adjusting Spawn Rates

You can increase or decrease how often samurai patrols, yokai creatures, and animals appear in your world. Reduce spawn rates if mobs feel overwhelming, or increase them for a more challenging experience. Changes apply to new chunks as they generate.

Fine-Tuning Your Experience

Separate controls exist for different creature types—adjust samurai spawning independently from yokai or animals. If you're using Sodium optimization, ensure the "For Sodium Users" resource pack is active in your resource pack menu before configuring visual settings. Weather and fog effects can also be customized to match your preferred atmosphere. Save your configuration and restart your world for changes to take full effect.
