Hiding Effectively Outdoors on the Island
Use Natural Cover
The island has trees, rocks, and terrain features scattered across the grounds. Position yourself behind large trees where thick trunks block the seeker's view. Crouch in shadowed areas beneath overhanging branches—the darker lighting makes you harder to spot.
Create Distance Strategically
Run far enough from the house that the seeker won't immediately check your area, but stay close enough to escape if discovered. The island's open layout means you're visible from a distance, so pick spots with natural barriers between you and common search paths.
Combine Objects for Cover
Use multiple elements together: hide behind a tree near a rock formation, or crouch in the shadow cast by two objects close together. Layered cover is harder to see through than a single hiding spot.
Stay Still and Silent
Once hidden outdoors, remain completely motionless. Movement catches the seeker's eye instantly, especially in open spaces.
