How to Tell Which Mods Add Searchables Filters and What They Support

Searchables Is a Library

Searchables does not add items, blocks, or its own search screen. It is a library mod: other mods call into it to register filter keys and values, and to enable the auto-complete dropdown in their own interfaces. That means the filters you can use depend entirely on which mods you have installed alongside it.

Finding Available Filters

1. Open a search interface from a mod that uses Searchables (storage mods, recipe viewers, and inventory managers are common hosts).

2. Click the search bar and type a single letter, or clear it entirely if the interface shows all keys.

3. Read the auto-complete dropdown. Every key listed there is registered by some installed mod.

4. Type a key followed by a colon to see its valid values in the dropdown.

5. Note which keys appear only when browsing certain item categories — that tells you which mod registered them.

What To Do If a Filter Does Not Work

If a key you expect is missing, the mod that would provide it is either not installed or not integrated with Searchables. There is nothing to configure in Searchables itself — it has no in-game settings for enabling filters. Adding or removing the host mod is what changes the available filter set. Check the host mod's documentation for the exact keys it registers.
