How to Look Up Items

Search on Mcmod Mod connects your in-game screen to the mcmod website, so you can read about an item without leaving Minecraft to type a search yourself.

To use it, hover your mouse pointer over any item — whether it sits in your normal inventory or appears in a list added by another mod. While hovering, press the B key. The mod then opens your web browser and loads the matching page for that item.

If the exact page cannot be found, the mod falls back to running a normal search on the website, so you still get useful results instead of nothing.

The search key is customizable. If B conflicts with another keybind, open your game settings and change it to a button that suits you.

This is handy when you meet an unfamiliar block or a confusing item and want details fast.
