The rarity of each item determines how long it stays hidden—common items appear quickly, while rare items take longer to uncover.

Ways to Search Faster

While you cannot skip the search process entirely, you can optimize your looting strategy:

• Focus on common items first: These reveal almost immediately, letting you grab basic supplies without waiting.
• Leave rare items for later: If you're in a hurry, come back to chests after you've completed other tasks. The search will resume or restart when you reopen the container.
• Search multiple chests in sequence: Open several chests in the same structure while waiting for rare items to appear in others. This lets you stay productive during the reveal animations.
• Plan your looting route: Visit chests in a logical order so you're never standing idle—always have another container to check while waiting.

Configuration Options

Check your mod settings to see if search speed or animation duration can be adjusted. Some configurations allow you to modify how quickly items progress through the reveal stages, giving you more control over the pacing.
