Join a friend's multiplayer world using an invite code

Entering the invite code

Ask your friend for their six-digit invite code. Open your game menu and navigate to the Join option. You'll see a text field where you can type or paste the code.

Connecting to their world

Enter the code exactly as your friend provided it and confirm. The mod will verify that your mod list matches theirs. If everything matches, you'll load into their world and appear near the spawn point.

Troubleshooting connection issues

If you see a mod mismatch error, you and your friend have different mods installed. Check that you both have the exact same mod list, then try again with a fresh invite code. If the code doesn't work, it may have expired—ask your friend to generate a new one by restarting their server.

Once connected, you can play normally. If you disconnect, you can rejoin using the same code as long as the session is still active.
